Grain Free Satin Ball Recipe for Dogs

"Satin Balls" is a complete diet for dogs, rich and high in calories, and should only be fed as a supplement or to encourage significant weight gain.

Ingredients:

  • 10 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lbs grated cheddar cheese
  • 4 cans drained tuna
  • 1 jar peanut butter
  • 2 cups molasses
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 box knox gelatin
  • 2 cups cooked pumpkin (not canned pumpkin)
  • 3 cups cottage cheese
  • 8 oz of dehydrated potato flakes (or plain instant mashed potato)

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl and roll them into medium sized meatballs.  Serve raw or freeze pre-formed satin balls in weighed portions.

Egg and Turkey Meatloaf


(Makes 12 Servings)

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup chopped or shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs

Method:

Preheat your oven to 350°F.  In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients.
Lightly grease a loaf pan with olive oil and add half the mixture to the pan.
Place the hard-boiled eggs along the center of the loaf and cover with the other half of the ground turkey mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Cut the loaf in half-inch slices from a cooled loaf and serve!

Peanut Butter Biscuits


(Makes 5 Dozen)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Oatmeal
  • 2 1/4 cups Brown Rice Flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil

Method:

Preheat oven to 375°F.  In a large bowl combine the peanut butter, oil, and water.
Gradually add the flour and oatmeal.  Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut with a cookie cutter.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 35 minutes.
